What are these?

Hello, I found a black clearly domestic bunny roaming around my yard yesterday, I took some carrots and sat down and he came to me, I let him have some carrot then I picked him up. I brought him in and checked him out and saw no ticks, but I see these little tiny bugs??! I just have no idea what they are! I can’t get a good picture of them, but they are brownish little round things and they are like in him kinda like how a flea or tick would be. I mean they are really fluffing tiny! I gave him a bath in dawn dish soap becuase he had some kind of oil or somthing on him, and I was hoping the tiny bugs would die, but they are still there! He also has a little white bump on his ear, I will post a picture, there is nithkng inside the bump, though. I contacted a vet when I first saw him and they told me they would remove ticks for free, but what about these bugs? I have some flea and tick repelant that also works for mites and worms but will it work for these bugs? I will call the vet and ask them about it tomorrow, but I wanted to know if anyone ueee knew about it. It’s a shame someone just abandoned him, he’s very sweet. He’s a black bunny and has a small lions mane.

Are you able to add the picture?
Perhaps it is lice?
Do be careful about OTC products you use as some are not safe to use on rabbits. Fipronil is toxic and other common treatments like Piperonyl Butoxide and Permethrin can can cause a reaction.

I dont believe they are lice, I tried to attach a photo but it says the photo is Eather too small or too big. They are like brown circles, and are like half the size of a flea.

Is the photo file a jpeg or png? Other file types often won’t load due to size. Are you using a phone/tablet or computer?

You may have to load the photo to a sharing site and paste link to it here. ie Flickr, Imgur, Facebook (with privacy settings) etc.

Did you spot any flea dirt before the bath? Im thinking maybe it’s young fleas, not reached adult size yet. Or chiggers/harvest mite? Though I think they are dark red.

Im thinking theyre small/young fleas as well, based on your description. If he has any wounds, its possible theyre small gnats infesting him as well. Gnats are generally harmless but if he has any open wounds, theyll flock towards it and are hard to kill off.
