My 1 year old bun has a wet tail recently. She had a wet tail one day, have a fairly clean bottom the next day and again have a wet tail. She eats and poops and plays like normal. I don’t have well experienced rabbit vet in my country. Please help.

That looks like a lot of wetness, she could have a bladder infection. Are there any small animal or exotics vets at all? Vets that treat horses also sometimes have rabbit knowledge (oddly enough).

Can you describe her housing set up? How often do you clean her litter tray?

Oops I didn’t realize this was a double post. Since the pictures are different I will leave this one up.

Hi,  I’ve noticed my male bunny ginger got like this quite often on and off for a few months. I have now realised it was because of his toilet set up. The litter tray I was using wasn’t deep enough and the bedding wasn’t the best at absorbing. They were the first two things I changed. I also now clean them out more frequently, especially if I notice that they have weed more than usual on a particular day. My next step would have been going to the vets as it could be also due to a bladder issue. My bun was acting completely normal and had no signs of this though so I tried other steps first that could have been causing the issue. Hope this helps xx
