wet nose

I feel like I’m constantly on here, sorry guys but you’re the best

Charlie’s nose is looking wet to me. Not just the nose but a little of her fur right under her nostrils and a little on the top part of her nose above her nostrils? hard to explain, but i can see it wet by the differing color in her fur and I can also feel it

It’s not thick, just cold and wet. Last time she was at the vet for a checkup she noticed her nose was wet but we chalked it up to allergies or her panicking and breathing heavy from the stressful ride. 

It’s weird because some days I’ll notice her nose is wet and other times it’s dry – can’t see the color change in the fur at all or feel the wet nose.. I’m not sure what to do. Is this something I should take her to the vet for? Could it be because of colder weather? She seems to be shedding A LOT and I’m trying to keep up with brushing and vacuuming her room so it’s not full of fur – not sure if that could have something to do with it? 

I’ll probably at the very least call the vet tomorrow but I’m worried because I have class the next 4 days during the operating hours of the vet and she’s still eating, drinking, pooping, etc. just fine

Sorry, I can’t really see the wet parts in the pic. If she is not sneezing and the wetness is clear and she is otherwise her normal self, then it’s probably just from the air or breathing fast. Luna has or had the same disappearing/reappearing wet nose without any other symptoms. A bit of a clear wet nose now and again without other symptoms is not abnormal. When was she at the vet last? If it was a while ago, you could go again to play it safe and double check that there isn’t any respiratory issue. If it was recently, I might wait but watch her closely and maybe keep a log of when her nose is wet and what she was doing at the time so that if you do go to the vet later, you can give the doctor a history of what’s been going on.
