I’ve never had this issue until now, but my bunny Dusk (age unknown) seems to be pregnant, but now she is having a wet bottom? Like her entire butt is soaked. I began to panic, and gave her a butt bath immediately but it didn’t seem to help. Could it because because of the babies, or age? I don’t know how to age a rabbit, nor does the person I got her from know her age. She could have gas, but wouldn’t her tummy be really hard, and not just fat? Her privates seem to be normal colored (whiteish, because she’s black) and she doesn’t seem to be in pain. I used litter pellets from tractor supply in her litter box with hay, and it worked great until I had to start moving her over to my grandma’s house to be watched. (She hates her hutch, and honks all night long). I’ve tried drying it with a towel, but it didn’t help either… HELP!

Have you taken her to a vet to confirm that she’s pregnant? A wet bum can be a sign of urinary/bladder issues, E-Cuniculi, and a variety of other things. I think you really need to take her to a vet to get her checked out. I have a bun with incontinence due to EC, and to clean up his bum I usually use cornstarch and then brush it out. But get her to a bunny-savvy vet ASAP, especially if she’s pregnant and having other issues at the same time.

Oh goodness. I was hoping it wouldn’t be bad. I did go to a vet to confirm pregnancy, but this pee problem happened so recently. I’ll try to schedule an appointment asap. I’m so worried now…
