Welcoming Lilly, Nala…. and Khaos?

We got two new bunnies today! And my girlfriend got herself a cat, Lilly and Nala are the bunnies, and Khaos is the cat.

Nala is a Lion head, Lilly’s a dutch.

That’s when we were filling out the adoption paperwork, they’re now home, getting use to their cage, and later tonight I’ll try to get more photos.

Also, let’s not forget Khaos. 

We’re moving in together this summer, so I thought I’d share her little fur baby too. (: He does really live up to his name, he causes a lot of chaos.

What a cute pair – I think Lilly is a Netherland though, not a Dutch rabbit. Congratulations – what lucky rabbits they are.

The shelter told me that she’s a dutch, so it could be possible that they’re wrong, I got two different stories as to why they were separated (Lilly had diarrhea, was one, and they got to big was another.) But I’m just happy they’re both adjusting very well to their new home, my nephew’s in bed, so they have free roam for the first time and Lilly’s just running back and forth in my living room while Nala takes the slow and sniff everything approach.  They’re both a bit overweight though, I’m assuming they haven’t had much run time since April.  They’ve also been in small hutches outside… That’s changing though, they’ll have as much run time as long as I’m downstairs to watch them, and they don’t have to be outside anymore, and a biiiig cage.

OH GOODNESS. Nala is a gorgeous girl! I’m in love with her already! And Lilly seems BIG for a Netherland, maybe she’s a mix?! Either way, she’s beautiful also! Are these two already bonded or are you going to have to do that yourself??? SQUEALLLL. I’m so happy for you, Bunny Daddy!

And congrats to your girlfriend on her kitten! She sure does look like a bundle of chaos!

Lilly is pretty big, I’m not too good with telling breeds, but I’m guessing she’s a mix seeing as Nala’s also a mix and they came from the same home, and yes they’re already bonded, they were separated for about a month though, Lilly had some tummy problems and they separated them and just never put them back together. When we put them together in the same room, they ran up to each other and started licking each other, it was so adorable! And the kitten’s a boy, but he’s a monster apparently, I haven’t met the kitten yet, so I don’t know myself, just stories.

Lily looks like a dwarf rabbit to me. I have a dwarf and well, she isn’t 2 pounds like normal dwarfs. She is a ‘false dwarf’ which means non-Nethie qualities such as bigger ears, curvy booty, long limbs, and tops the scale at 4 pounds, even though she isn’t chubby

I’m not sure how much she would weigh normally, because she is overweight from so little exercise for about 5-6 months, so right now she’s about 6-7 pounds. Her breed doesn’t matter to me though, they both stole my heart, and the hearts of all my friends, too!  They’re both so loving and hardly shy at all, I missed having a rabbit around the house… Although I don’t really miss finding little piles of poop in random spots
