I’ve been “lurking” on this site trying to learn everything i can learn before I brought home Ophelia “Phe” since the day I met her. So I’d like to thank yall for being so informative and specific about your advice to one another since it helped me provide Phe a binky-full life so far. After we met her, we asked the breeder to hold her for us for about 3 weeks because we were about to go out of town for a week and I didn’t want the poor thing to go through all that transitioning and chaos in her first few weeks with us. Since we met her, my sweet baby has already gained 3 lbs…I should mention she is a Flemish Giant and everything I could hope for in a first bunny. While my picking her up makes her nervous, once she is secure against my chest she is calm and comfortable and when I sit with her in her pen she stays right under my feet the whole time. She was living outside with her mother so I can already tell she is much happier in the house with us because every morning, when i open the gate to her crate, she welcomes us with plenty of binkies and periscopes. 3 days is all we’ve had her for so far but i’m in love already.

I tried to upload pictures but they are too big and i can’t figure out how to shrink it. i know someone mentioned how to but i can’t remember. I’ll try to figure it out

Hi and Welcome to BB!!!!!

I LOVE the name Ophelia. I wanted to name my daughter that but my husband didn’t want such an old name. Boo…..

I use Photobucket to re-size my pics, then save them to my desktop and upload to BB.

Okay here’s some that i shrunk. I found out from her breeder today that she won’t be 8 weeks until Jan 11, she was born on  Veteran’s Day. I don’t have a scale but i’m guessing she’s already 5-7 lbs. I can’t wait to see how big she matures to!

You uploaded your pics, but didn’t insert them into your post. I went ahead and inserted them for you. They were tiny, so I tried to make them bigger. It just makes the pictures blurry though. =\ She sure is a cutie though.
