hi i was wondering if anyone know what is this? It’s not smelly or has any pus. I pat my bunny and suddenly notice this thing. She just got scabies shot 1 month ago, is it possible it’s from the shot? It looked like an open wound but it’s dry and she’s behaving as usual even when i touched it. And it’s only like this one spot

First of all, is your bun a single bun?

Second, is the wound located near the site of the shot?

If your bun is housed with, or gets to meet other buns occasionally, his could be a bite wound scab. The wound looks healthy and good, nice and dry. Keep an eye out for excess swelling, redness and/or seepage.

I had a bun that developed four distinct sores in his ears, 2 in each esr,.after a myxo shot. The shot was given between the shoulder blades. The sores healed just fine, but it took +4 weeks. My vet agreed they were probably due to an adverse reaction against the vaccine.

Your bun’s sore could vety well be from the antiparastic shot. Since it looks very good, I think you just need to keep an eye.
