So I’ve never owned a young bunny before and I don’t know what his weight should be; I mean I went to the vet they never said anything about his weight, but I’m a little worried about how I can feel his hip bones and spine. He is 5 months old and weighs 3 lbs and 8 ounces. And I can’t go to the vet because the only vet near me that sees rodents charges just for a consultation.

Here is an article about proper weight in rabbits. It’s in regard to adult rabbits, but at 5 months of age, your rabbit is approaching adulthood, so maybe the article will be helpful.
