I bought a scale to weigh my does before and at 15 days before they are due.

Each time I have weighed the 2 does. The scale says they lost 3 oz. each.

Which doesn’t make since to me. So I put the 2 does this morning in with the bucks.

The does made it quit clear they didn’t want to be bred.

So my question is. Can a does lose oz’s? And if so why?

To me they should gain weight.

I have no answer to your question about weight in (I’m guessing?) pregnant rabbits. I don’t know.

On Binkybunny, we do not permit discussion of intentional rabbit breeding. Our website advocates rabbit rescue and spay/neutering of all rabbits.

There are other, more appropriate resources for rabbit breeding discussions online.

I am going to lock this thread.

I’m sorry but we do not allow posts on intentional breeding – we are not a forum for that.
