I’m doing the same thing I do every weekend (and everyday for that matter): research, research, research. At least it looks like it’s going to be a pleasant weekend and I can hang out at my pool.

Yesterday I got a heap of timber and some plywood and I’m going to make a very basic stand that will fit Ash’s big crate inside it and I can stack Loki’s smaller one on top. Now I’ve just got to measure it all out on the timber, cut it, screw it all together and maybe give the top and braces a coat of waterproofing in case.

As for me, I got invited to go with my friend to the bar and Andy said he’d be my DD but I’m not sure I’m the bar kind. Idk I just turned 21 a few months ago so I’ve never really went in this sense. And Sunday I’m hanging out with a friend and going to the mall to use my groupon. Sounds very girly. I also need to put in some work on the beads this weekend bc I’ve been pre-occupied this week to do too much.

It’s pouring!!!! I finally got a pool, got it filled, and it’s raining.

It sounds like I’m selling the tent trailer tomorrow! I wasn’t going to bother, but someone wanted it and that works, it’s just being ugly on the lawn. Dave wants to make his own camper next year and we just can’t camp this year too busy!

My parents are coming over for dinner tomorrow for mom’s bday and fathers day. My brother is cooking. I was buying. He’s a chef and I eat canned goods-some of the things he sent me to buy I’ve never heard of lol

What a weekend here. Just woke up to the forecast…rain all weekend. Was gonna work on my garden and flower bed but that will have to wait. Gonna ride this weekend, thank goodness for the indoor arena. Maybe do a bit of shopping at the craft store.

And I’ve got a bag of about a million pennies to roll. The Pennie will be obsolete come Fall so I’ve gotta roll and bankem before they are worthless. Guess a rainy day is a good day to get it done.

And the Belmont Stakes is tonight so I’ll be watching.

Took Mum grocery shopping this morning and the rest of the weekend will be spent on spreadsheets for the annual wage case reviews and pending EB Agreement. I need to do housework as the place looks like the cats own it but I really don’t know where I’ going to find the time. Already lost a few hours trying (unsuccessfully) to unblock the main drain from the laundry and bathroom.

Back to the spreadsheets, the final report is going to be an absolute beotch to put together. I have to pull it all into percentages and there is a really wide scope to tie together.

My fun weekend plans are healing up my sprained ankle, bruised knee, and strained back. =D

I was mowing the lawn and stepped my heel into a hole an animal had dug. I rolled over on my right ankle and fell onto my left knee. Believe me, it’s been pain since yesterday afternoon x.x Since then I’ve had to sit and lie in awkward positions so nothing hurts, and last night sleeping oddly I strained my lower back. I am walking pretty good today and my knee is much better, but my back is killing me.

So little bun buns is much, much faster than me at the moment.

I got the stand done! Despite annoying drills that were either too fast or too slow and having to redrill a few holes I got it done and have set up Ash’s crate inside it. Next step is to fix up Loki’s crate and stand it on top… as you can see there’s a few kitties taking advantage of this new place to lie on.

Well, Today (Sunday) I got one load of laundry done and I finished condensing a 5 page spreadsheet into two columns of summary percentage data then the roof fell in. LITERALLY. We are experiencing wind and rain here on a cyclonic level. The wind lifted the front tiles without taking the roof off but the pressure was so great my entire lounge room ceiling imploded. State Emergency Crews have cleared the ceiling panels from the lounge room and my Mother Sister and Niece spent three hours helping me remove the two foot deep pile of ceiling insulation broken glass and split furniture that was left. I have no ceiling or lights but at least the tiles are still attached and will keep the rain out. Its spider central up there.
Luckily I was out in the laundry and the cats moved fast enough to escape the roof falling in. Bunnies were out the back with me but we are all a bit shell shocked. Planning a good cry when I finally get to bed.
