We iz in ur shoppin cart…steelin all ur carotz…

I was amazed yesterday, while in PETCO picking up some bags of hay, to look across the rooom at the dog tags generator and see a large (must be Flemish) agouti lop rabbit sitting in the child seat in nothing but a cuddly cup! The companion rabbit was in the basket portion with a nice beach towel and both were totally relaxed, even when the owner bumped into the cart and rolled it into the counter just a few inches away. I swear, if I could get my rabbits to go places like that with me, I’d never leave them home! 0_o

Do you think these rabbits were drugged or something? I’m actually thinking of the bunny that went traveling with the honeymoon couple who posted pix of her at all the national landmarks. Why can’t all bunnies travel like these wonderful lapins?!

It definitely made my day yesterday. ^_^ I’m trying to think about it everytime I begin beating myself up over my dog going for ER surgery today.

Perhaps they’ve travelled about like that from a young age? Cute sight. Others here have mentioned taking their pets into the petstores…Is that a common thing in the northern hemi ?

As soon as I can get Freya used to being on a harness she’ll be coming along with me for her shopping trips. I can only dream she’ll be so well behaved. Likely I’ll be sorry she came and wanting to sell my soul in exchange for her staying in the cart for just 2 more minutes.

I am used to seeing dogs or even cats come in to PETCO on leads…but bunnies?? And no pen or carrier to hold them? Yikes!

Anyway, they were lucky they were keeping a good eye on the two, or I’d have been tempted to bun nap the Flemmie and stuff him in my rucksack! ^_^ What a cutie!

Wow what fun.  I love taking mine.  As long as I don’t put Cotton down on the ground he is fine. 

I have seen a bunny running around on the floor with his harness at petsmart b4.  I would be scared a dog would get him.   That was b4 I got bunnies.  

Too bad you didn’t catch a pic of them  I would have loved ot see that.

I’ve taken Dono and Maryann into Petco a couple of times when I felt they needed some bonding refresher stuff. They are usually quiet in the main cart of the shopping cart, sniffin through the holes but not being too strung out.
