I just had to share (because no one in my “real” life would understand or care) that I feel Remi and I truly bonded today and it feels great! He’s always been friendly but today I had him out for playtime and he was crawling in my lap for pets, flopping next to me for pets, and giving me some bunny kisses while I was doing some work on the floor. We’ve only had him about a month so we are still building a relationship but today we turned a corner. What fun!

I’m so happy for you and your bun!
We have a bun who wouldn’t let us anywhere near her when we first got her. It wasn’t until after her spay a few months later that she stopped being so scared. It took a lot of time and patience but now she’s always climbing on our backs and in our laps – there’s nothing like when they first start coming out of their shell so you can really begin a bond with them!
