        Hi,

My rabbit has some wetness around one of his eyes. It’s clear, but a little sticky when I wipe at it. His eyes appear fine and he hasn’t had any changes in behavior or eating. I have an appointment scheduled for him to be neutered next Wednesday and I’m wondering if I should take him to the vet before to check out his eye?

I would probably wait unless their appears to be infection (green/yellowish or thick white discharge and/or a bad smell). It may just be a clogged tear duct or a possible tooth root issue, all of which your vet can check out while he’s sedated.

I just wasn’t sure if it was cause for concern during the operation. Thank you!
