        Hello everyone,
So I give my rabbit purified water, bottled occasionally. She isn’t very picky when it comes to water, I know to avoid tap water because of the impurities it hosts. However, I am curious which water benefits them the most. After all, there are lots to choose from, such as reverse osmosis, distilled, and alkaline to name a few. I am sincerely puzzled by this though. Is there a particular type of water that is better for them? If so leave a suggestion, please. Thank you for dropping by in advance.

I give my bunnies the same tap water I drink. Personally, I avoid bottled water because of the waste plastic. To be honest, I don’t believe that reverse osmosis, distilled or alkaline water would have any positive or negative effect on anyone, human or animals.

I really don’t think water will have any significant effect on their health, as long as it’s not obviously dirty or diseased of course. In the wild, buns would drink from puddles.

I agree with S&L, but I know the quality of tap water can vary around the world. I have a Brita waterfilter jug that I think make tap water taste really good -but I doubt it makes the water more healthy. We have high quality tap water without added chlorine here, so my Bam could very well drink it unfiltered.

I give Kurotta alkaline water because that’s what we drink. The filter that’s attached to our tap only has alkaline water as a drinkable option so we don’t really have a choice. I doubt there’s any water “better” for them too.
