My two absolute fave TV shows are “Dracula” and “Sleepy Hollow”

I absolutely adore Jonathan Rhys Meyers. He played King Henry VIII in my fave series of all time “The Tudors”.

I definitely have a love for goth/dark side type shows. Really excited for Game of Thrones to start back up this Spring.
What shows can you absolutely not miss?
LPT: I like Sleepy Hollow pretty well too, unfortunately we haven’t kept up with it too much. ![]()
Hubby and I are currently watching the second season of American Horror Story on Netflix. We love it, I actually like it even more than the first season.
Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead go without saying, sadly we have to wait for both of these show’s seasons to come out on Blu-ray every time. Game of Thrones comes out next month, yay! ![]()
We are also waiting for the third season of Wilfred to show up on Netflix. Love that show.
Loved The Tudors and I agree that JRM guy is hot! I’ll have to check out Sleepy Hollow.
I record a ton of shows and today I am watching Rehab Addict – I love the work Nicole does and I wish I could do what she does.
I also like Nashville and Modern Family and Chopped and Cutthroat Kitchen.
Of course, there’s always got to be a geek on a website. I have to admit I’ve been watching Doctor Who. Haha
I’m not caught up on any TV right now. Lol. More and more I’ve been binge watching TV shows instead of tuning in each week.
I haven’t seen Dracula but I was enjoying Sleepy Hollow. I also like Grimm and Once Upon a Time. There’s a new Once Upon A time in Wonderland that looked alright. I have a soft spot for Hart of Dixie and Revenge. Hart of Dixie is a romantic comedy type show while Revenge reminds me of a soap opera with better acting.
Hazel – I thought the second season of American Horror Story’s second season was much better than the first too. ![]()
American Horror story season 3 is AMAZING. You guys will love it
Other than American horror story my tv is rarely on lol. When it’s on, it’s usually just background noise for when I’m tidying up the place or something. Although, I do like watching Conan. He just cracks me up!
Oh and I’ve been watching once upon a time. But I think they’re done for right now. Not sure when it comes back on and it’s not a show that I tune into every week. Just every few weeks I’ll get online and binge on the last couple episodes I miss lol. I will say though *SPOILER ALERT SPOILER ALERT’ that if Rumplestilskin is in fact dead, I will quit watching. He was my all time favorite character and one of the only few that can act lol not to mention the way “killed” him…for those two being the two most powerful magical beings and he went out in an awkward hug fight?! Yeah, they better rectify that situation. Not happy!
I watch a lot of shows that are mentioned. I like the second season of American Horror Story better than the first and the 3rd. The third season is good though.
Once upon a time in Wonderland is okay too.My husband watches those so I kind of watch them as well. I also like Rehab Addict too. I watch all kinds of different shows. I keep forgetting about that Dracula show I need to TiVo that. I have watched the Tudors but never finished it for some odd reason. It was good too.
I like Major Crimes (as much as I did The Closer). And can’t wait for PBS to start the new season of SHERLOCK. I will always be a Project Runway fan – the original, not the offshoots, All Stars or copycats.
I only have Netflix so I am not “current” on any shows…
But, I love Sons of Anarchy, Supernatural, American Horror Story (I still need to watch the 2nd season!) New Girl cracks me up. Parks and Rec…watching that series currently.
Me and BF tend to start a show on Netflix and don’t start a new one until we complete the entire series. We’re kinda nerdy like that.
Shows I watch when my old man boyfriend goes to bed…he wakes up at like 530am, I don’t until much later haha. Raising Hope, Gossip Girl (something I can put on in the background and be semi into) Pretty Little Liars (I’m almost ashamed to admit that I love this show lol)
Daughter is a huge Once Upon fan, so when Once in Wonderland came on (I love Lewis Carroll) we both watched it…they are excellent but the original is getting too predictable for us in it’s writing. (When we can guess how the plot is going or we can write a better one we lose interest.)
Deffo Doctor and Sherlock fans here! (I have missed last season’s Christmas special with Matt Smith’s farewell and only got bits and pieces of the 50th anniversary special over the internet…boo!) Our t.v. reception is iffy at best right now and if we can’t get a signal the day that Sherlock returns I will be one unhappy bunny mama! (Beware!)
Eagerly awaited the new Downton Abbey only to be slightly disappointed. It really didn’t pack the punch I was hoping for…but I’ll give it another chance.
Otherwise we are stuck watching Big Bang Theory reruns (when the stations work) and lots and lots of cooking shows…. (snore!) ![]()
I really want to start watching Downton Abbey and Once Upon a Time. I’ve always been a fan of fairy tales. They are both on Netflix. Just got to try to find the time to watch them.
I also really love Boardwalk Empire. I need to catch up on the new season.
As for movies, I just saw the new Hobbit movie this weekend. I loved it. I’m a pretty big Tolkien fan. I was happy that the Rhosgobel rabbits were in it, but only for a second. And Kili…..let’s just say I’m a fan of him too. ![]()
There are other Dr. Who fans here
YAY! I started watching the new series in September and now finishing season 7 now. Oops… Gonna be hard waiting for season 8. It’s just so addictive. I might try Sherlock while I wait
I also religiously follow Tabletop, The Big Bang Theory (I’m a grad student in sciences), How I met your mother, Supernatural and Game of Thrones. There’s a lot TV shows I watch, but more sporadically – Criminal Minds, Mentalist, Grey’s Anatomy… I just let episodes pile up and watch them leisurely. I’ve been watching tv a lot more this year instead of reading. I love reading, but I’ve been reading and writing a lot for my thesis, so I don’t feel like reading before bed much anymore ![]()
I’m watching many of the series already listed here. Love having a DVR since I can watch everything at my leisure. Some of my favorites are Top Chef, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and Modern Family. While it’s not new, I’m also watching re-runs of Star Trek: Next Generation. Used to watch it with my dad as a kid, but there are still a lot of episodes I haven’t seen.
I also religiously follow Tabletop
!!!
I just started watching this about a month ago and I LOVE it. I’ve already purchased quite a few new games because of that show. Also, Will Wheaton is adorable.
It’s addictive, right MD? I’ve got quite a few games due to it too
And the geeky jokes are so good.
