Just found out my 2 buns absolutely are nuts over Vlassic Dill Sunflower seeds. I have fed about 3 to each today, and don’t want to cause any harm. Anyone think 2-3 seeds per day might do  them harm? Velvet will be 8 in Feb. and Zippy’s about  3

Velvet, thank you for asking us about this. A couple seeds shouldn’t cause much harm but daily is not so good. They are fattening if too many are given and too often.Sunflower seeds are best for winter if you want to feed them because they keep your little rabbits warm. They are a treat so feed them in moderation! Make sure the shell is off! They can’t digest them with the shells on! Hope this helped!

You shouldn’t really be giving them seeds at all.

Thank you. Yeah I notice as for apples it says NO SEEDS also……………………………..Strange that Pellets often times have sunflower seeds in shell, along with so much “other,” crap in it.

Unfortunately a lot of manufactures don’t care about what’s healthy, they just make what they know will sell. Hence yoghurt drops and such for rabbits.

Ooops I’m sorry about the misinformation. Yeah that’s right! No seeds! None at all!
