Steve built a great little ramp and lounge box above Jack and Viv’s hidey house. For a long while they wouldn’t go up there, but lately I’ve been seeing Vivian head up there and now she likes to lounge up there. Jack will go up there sometimes to search for her and shoo her out so she can be with him down on the ground (he is afraid of heights and doesn’t like staying up there)
So it’s Viv’s new “girl time” space. Jack is getting less bossy about her and lets her have more time up there. I think he likes it better that at least she stays with him in the same room as she RARELY goes back to her hidout in the other room now..
Anyway – here’s her Window Seat: ’
I need to get a wider shot to show the whole contraption, but you can at least see the ramp up to the Lounge Box Window Seat.

OMG, that is so sweet! ^_^ See now that’s what Mimzy needs…not just the window seat, but the nice window that looks out on a lovely lawn and pretty flowers.
(and plenty of sunlight)
Her coloring is so similar to his too…with the exception of her ears not lopping…but I can forgive her that.
Did Steve do this spur of the moment? Or was it on his ‘honeydew’ list?

That’s lovely.
I have been thinking that Sammy might use a ramp, because she avoids heights so much that she won’t even jump up onto my low couch. She’s twice as big as she was when we moved in, and periscopes, but just won’t do it. She’s probably like Jack and won’t want to go up a ramp and stay, but maybe it’s worth a try. Vivian is a lucky girl.

Thanks everyone. It’s nice to see her finally enjoying it. Jack is such a pill when he does go up there – he shoos her down, then stay up there for a minute to dig a hole in her bed, eat her snack greens,and chin mark everything before he heads down. He’s like the mean kid in the sandbox. (I’ll try to get it on video – though he doesn’t do it as much anymore)

Monkeybun – I just had Jack update his friends list so hopefully he added you!
You must have another name there. ?? Mimzmum – Building that was on Steve’s Honeydew list. But anything that requires creating and building he loves to do, so it didn’t take much time to from the Start Line (asking) to the Finish Line.
