So I divy up my medicine for the day every morning when I get up. I took my morning meds. OK
Then the next day Cotton had lots of cecals more than normal. He smeared some in his box.
Left 3 on the floor. I was wondering whats wrong. Mentally I went over what I fed him.
Nothing changed thoThe next day I go into the kitchen. Fouad found a 1/2 of a calcium or vitamin b Big solid horsepill. Sheesh it had what looked like little bunny teeth marks.
Definitely wasn’t cut in 1/2. Fouad said he found it on the floor. Oh so thats what was wrong with Cotton. He is ok today. I didn’t even know I dropped it. We try to be so careful and not drop a tablet on the floor and when we do we look n look til we find it. We even look together. Sometimes they blend in.
That scares me that I dropped this one and didnt’ even know it.
Hey it answers the question on whether he would eat it or not. I used to think no tellin with rabbits. Anyone remember those papaya tablets the good ones that first came out. They smelled so good. And finally I tried one and it tasted like chalk., They loved those papaya tablets. Til the company redid the recipe that is. So I wondered if he would actually eat the tablet if I dropped one and somehow he got to it. Since he loved those chalky tasting papaya tablets a nasty tasting pill probably wouldn’t faze him.
Must have not fazed him too much since he ate 1/2 of the vitamin.
