I’ve copy/pasted this from another forum, but I hope no one minds. It would’ve taken forever to type it again.
My Yorkie/Chihuahua cross, Jenna, is scheduled for her dental tomorrow (May 23) along with ‘the family dog’, Ebon (dachshund/Pomeranian/husky cross) who is having her spay at the same time. Have to drive thirty miles to town to have them in at 7 AM. (Being an insomniac means I’ll be about useless at that hour.) Naturally GA is always a worry for me no matter the animal undergoing it, but especially these two as it will be Ebon’s first and Jenna always comes home almost comatose from her dentals and doesn’t often eat for hours afterwards. This complicates her stomach and blood sugar troubles. Plus we’re not sure she doesn’t have CT so intubating her always stresses both of us. She’s a very nervous dog with separation anxiety and I hate seeing that flare up as well. Jenna also had a lump suddenly appear on her muzzle last week that is either a histiocytoma or a mast cell…either way it’s not in the best place for removal and I’m scared of what the pathology will be.
Can I ask for any vibes going spare that both their procedures go well without complications and they come home to quick recoveries, please? Thank you
BTW…Woot! First new post from my mobile!
