It was 90 degrees F here by 10am.  That’s just not normal.  Poor bunnies have just been melted piles of fluff the past few days, licking ice cubes to cool down.  I HATE being hot.  My whole body swells and I become an irritable mess of a human being. My house usually stays pretty cool (rarely above 75), but this weather has done it in.

This morning I went out and bought a little air conditioner for downstairs where the bunnies are.  It’s SO much nicer now, and they are back to normal!

But ugh, hot, humid, steamy.  Tomorrow is suppose to be even worse.

I’ve had pretty similar weather… I’ve been doing everything for my bun, but I haven’t bought an AC unit. A lot of frozen tiles, frozen bottles, and fans.

Luckily there should be some Tstorms. That should cool the air a bit, even if it gets a bit more humid(if that’s even possible!!)
I don’t think poor little Gimli has ever heard thunder before, though. I hope he handles it well.

Weather is miserable here. =p I’ve been keeping the buns cool with a fan and frozen water bottles. I hear you about the heat though. I’ve been nocking down the AC degree by degree because of the electric bill being crazy expensive.

It has been fairly warm here. Mid 90s is all. The buns seem to be fine. I’m not too worried about them. We have been hosing down the outside birds at work though. I feel bad when I see them panting.

LBJ birds can pant???? O.o That’s crazy. What type of birds do you have outside of your work?

Yeah, they hold their mouths open and pant. No tongues hanging out though. LOL
We have a bald eagle, vultures, hawks, and several large owls. When it’s really hot we take a hose to them to cool them off. It is on “mist” and the birds just look up at the water wondering where this mysterious rain cloud came from. =p

Here too. I HATE the heat. Unless I’m in a pool, I hate it. I don’t like it for myself and I spend all day stressing that my buns will get too hot.

Today is actually pretty cool and rainy but tomorrow they are forecasting 42C humidex. That would pretty much be the hottest temp we’ve ever had. It’s awful. Too hot to do anything. Except complain.

The horses have a hard time dealing with this heat too. Win stays in the barn during the hot days, which is cooler but still muggy and hot. I always go hose her off during the hottest part of the day. She’s having breathing difficulties due to allergies and this weather is just awful for her.

Been in NYC for the past week for work and I dread using the subways. If you think it’s hot and humid outside, it’s so much worse down there! It’s like being in a sauna dungeon. I’m very much looking forward to returning to Texas lol. At least I can get around in my air conditioned car.
