My rabbit is 11 weeks and 5 days and I was wondering if I could start introducing veggies. I know everyone says wait tell their 12 weeks but isn’t he close enough. He’s eating Alfalfa hay and some Timothy hay and unlimited pellets (he eats about 4 tbs) Also is lettuce an ok veggie to start with (not ice burg of corse)?

Well, you could probably start him now since he’s two days away.

Introduce a very small amount of one type then wait before introducing in case he reacts badly. And yes, lettuce can be good, particularly romaine as a starter.

You could start now, or just wait a couple more days…..

Romaine is good as it’s fairly bland and easy on the tummy but always start off small.
