  It’s about time for my bunny to get his vaccinations. In Germany I had him vaccinated against Myxomatosis and RHD once a year, how do they do it over here in the US? I read somewhere that they don’t vaccinate against Myxo, is that true? Any help appreciated!

  We don’t give our rabbits any vaccinations in the US, that is true.

  i don’t think they vacc against anything here. at least my vet has never suggested anything. they might in areas where there are higher instances, but i’m not sure.

  Not any? I thought they would at least give him the RHD one Well, he doesn’t go outside for now, so I guess it’s ok… Thanks for your help Sarita and Beka.

  RHD vaccines are not legal in the US right now.

  Wow, do you know if there’s a special reason why it’s not legal? It’s not like it’s a “new” thing over there, I had them vaccinated for both since I got them in 2000.
