  I just got a 12 week old female rabbit on Saturday from a local pet store. Currently she is in a small cage housed next to an exercise pen that houses my roughly 2 year old male that I hope I can pair her with eventually. Today I have noticed these soft, liquidy stool like droppings on the cage. I’m also working on litter box training her so she is currently peeing on the floor of her cage. I just wanted someone’s opinion on if I should be worried about this or not. She also has the normal brown round droppings.

  It’s good there are normal droppings as well, but you need to keep a very close eye. The safest and best thing is to contact a vet, sometimes a young bunny has a parasite (coccidia) and needs a dewormer/antibiotics. A young bunny gets dehydrated very fast if true diarrhea sets in, and you absolutely want to avoid that.
  
  A bit of excess cecals are ok in a young bun but they shouldn’t be liquid. Do you see any mucus in the liquid poop? Is the liquid poop watery? Mucus-y/watery poop is a sign of an irritated GI mucosa and the bun should see a vet asap.

  When I did the original post I thought I had attached the picture but it didn’t. I just tried to edit it and I’m not sure what happened to the post. Here’s the picture I took of it.

  This doesn’t even look like poop to me. Loose bunny stools tend to be darker. This looks more like litter soaked in pee. Silly question, are you certain this is poop?

  Or a food pellet that has been pee’d on or spat out. Im leaning toward it being something like that if she is producing normal looking poop otherwise.
  If it is actually poop and there has been more like it, she needs to see a vet asap.
