Right now I have a hide house in my bunnys cage and I have tunnels and a hide house during playtime. But my rabbit never uses his hide house in his cage. I’ve seen him in it once. Most of the time hes just laying in the open even if he gets scared he just goes close to the hide house. And if he gets scared during playtime he runs into his tunnel. So I was wondering if I could take his hide house out and put a tunnel in instead.

Luna went into her hideout when I first adopted her, but not since then, so I took it out of her cage to give her more room for when I need to put her in there. She has tunnels and under the bed as alternative hideouts. If you think your bun will be more comfortable with the tunnel, then I think it would be ok.
