Welcome to BB!
Rabbit diet can be a bit tricky at first. Rabbit.org is a GREAT resource for bunny diet and I highly recommend reading:
http://rabbit.org/faq-diet/
http://rabbit.org/suggested-vegetables-and-fruits-for-a-rabbit-diet/
(the second one has a list on it but read the wonderful article above it too.)
At 8 months the recommended diet for a rabbit would be:
1/2 cup pellets per 6lbs body weight (plain pellet, no extras like seeds, dried vegitables, etc).
2 cups of bunny safe greens per 6lbs body weight
unlimited hay and water
1-2 ounces of fruit as treats per 6lbs body weight
Iceberg Lettuce isn’t very good for them but Romaine Lettuce, Green Leaf Lettuce, Butter Lettuce, etc… are great for rabbits. You want to introduce new veggies one at a time and in small quantities. All this is explained in the links I posted above
Craisins (avoid the reduced sugar ones) are great treats.
On nail trimming and grooming, check out the monthly maintenance info page:
