I give daisy the toilet paper rolls when all the paper is gone to chew on. She loves them but I have noticed that she doesn’t spit it out I think she swallows it. I know this isn’t supposed to be whats going on but If i don’t give her something she will eat my house up. What do I do?

Hi! My bunnies tend to eat the cardboard too (at least I think so because I never see it again!) they have not had any problems yet…so i haven’t been to concerned about it. I don’t think its harmful but I will check it out! One thing to watch out for – don’t give them the cardboard tubes that have a lot of glue still on them.

My buns chew on them and I think eat them all as well. But they only chew about half of a small tube and then its apparently not tasty anymore, or something. lol

Cardboard boxes they dont eat but just shred them to pieces. If your bun likes TP tubes have you tried a normal cardboard box? Just something extra and cheap to use.

Frankie’s favorite food is paper products… it hasn’t caused any problems with digestion or anything. But he will DEVOUR it if you let him.

Mine seem to ignore the piles of big, little, fat, thin cardboard tubes under the bed, and instead go for the taste of magazine (whether I happen to be reading them at the time or not). Try putting fruit, veg and hay in the tubes too, give them something tasty to get at.

Jessica seems to prefer any of my dissertation articles or school/work documents.  I think that anything else is just not as tasty!
