Yesterday I took my Toby out for his first day of shopping! I have a carrier and bag packed for hurricane season but I was still lacking a harness and leash. He’s a little guy, but on the husky side so I was really worried of not being able to get him anything that fit. So I loaded him up in his carrier and took him shopping!
He handled the car ride like a champ! First stop was Petco for some quick shopping. I didn’t expect to find anything, but the staff there were amazing! They helped me find the PERFECT harness in the dog section and helped me try them all on Toby. He was very patient and such a good boy! The staff there loved him, and they all cuddled with him and held him. It wasn’t till we left an hour later that one of the employee’s realized he was a bun! lol Most everyone thought he was a dog! LOL Maybe I should take him to a dog show and pass him off as the first ever Barkless Dog!
With his new harness on, Toby and I headed to Petsmart for some more shopping! Doesn’t he look cute in blue???
As I went up and down the 3 rabbit isles at Petsmart Toby leaned over and chinned EVERYTHING in sight! “Mine, Mine, MINE!!!” lol Here he is helping me pick out some CareFresh for his litter box!
On the car ride home, we have one exhausted Toby! He had a full day of shopping. He met loads of new people and I was so proud of how well he did! He let everyone hold him and pet him. Good Toby! I rewarded him with a treat when he got home and he is very eager to go on another shopping trip!
P.S. The girls at Petsmart helped me pick out a cowboy hat and bandana for my Texas Toby! hehe Looks like he’ll be all ready for the rodeo next year! Yee haw!

Aww thank ya!!! I am a very proud Mama! hehe It was actually in the Petsmart Halloween costume section for pets. LOL But I just HAD to have it! I’ll have to take a picture of Toby in it for you guys. It is WAY tooo cute! hehe The guys at Petco told me to bring him back next week when they’ll have all their Halloween stuff in. hehe Maybe we can get another cute outfit for Toby!
