Is this normal in rabbits? So sometimes, humans mostly children get dried “eye bugers” when they first wake up. They’re very small in size. Well, every day since I got Toby, he’s woken up with this in both of his eyelids. His eye bugers are not wet, they’re crusty and dry.  My breeder just told me to clean it with warm water and a q tip , but this is happening every day, and I’m not sure if it’s normal or not. Please let me know, thanks

Normal! Both boys get eye boogies when they’ve been a sleep for a while. I’m not sure why. I think part of it is from getting hay near the eye. I asked my vet about it when I first got them and she said it was normal.

Ahh, thank you so much for telling me! I’m relieved now Speaking of vets, it’s about time I take Toby for his first checkup.
