It’s pretty hot here right now, and a lot of humidity, and I think my rabbits are kinda getting really pooped by it. Usually, around this time, if they’re not hopping around, they’re casually laying down with their feet stuck out, or in the meatloaf sit, or just sitting and watching.

But it’s fairly bad right now. Even as I type this, one of the bunnies is in here with me in my room, and he’s laying down, and his head is nearly on the floor, his eyes almost closed. He looks really unhappy and exhausted by the heat.

I’ve tried freezing a water bottle and putting it by him, but he doesn’t like it, he pushes it away. He has lots of water, and I’m changing it frequently throughout the day, and giving him cold water. Also giving him a lot of veggies that have been freshly washed, so he can get more water. X_x But I can’t think of anything else. It’s a new house, and it’s never been so bad before. I would’ve thought it would’ve been cooler, as the floor is hardwood here, rather than carpet.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure if these tips are mentioned in the link…

Give them a bit of frozen fruit-or freeze there lettuce and give it to them
Buy a little fan for them
Those ‘neck bag’s that are hot/cold for neck pain, cloth and stuffed with oats-freeze them and give to your bunny
                  ice cubes in the water
