I went to petco a few days ago to pick up some yesterday’s news and found an OXBOW SHELF OO. It was so cool to be honest as I’ve been waiting ever since I got a rabbit for petco to start carrying Oxbow as petsmart is a little farther away and in a less convenient spot. When looking there I noticed 2 things. 1. They had the new garden pellets that I hadn’t been able to find anywhere but their website (thinking of switching when my current bag is almost gone!) but I also noticed a new hay mix. It was orchard grass and Timothy hay. When I saw it I was like “OMG I NEED IT” as orchard grass had only been sold as a treat hay and I want to have a mix of hay (I used to have alfalfa and Timothy but she’s a little bit old for that now) so that she would eat more. I’ve also been wanting to try orchard grass but Timothy was always more available. Ok I got a little side tracked there but what I’m asking is do I need to transition her onto the mix or can I just go get it once my current bag of Timothy hay is gone? I use the same brand (oxbow) so the Timothy hay won’t be different but with pellets and veggies it always seems you need to introduce them slowly.
I want to note just i case because this is so annoyingly long that it’s a mix of what she has now and another one so she would still have hay she knowns if she does get it.

The oxbow bag is 50/50. You can get a bag and put a small chunk on your already timothy supply. O plan to do the same in 3 months for bandit

You don’t really have to transition grass hays, but if you have a little timothy left when you get the new bag, you can do as BanditCamp suggests.
