Three Babies!

Hi all,

     I’ve been using the forum for info on starting a bunny family. Now that my girlfriend and I have three little girls, I would like to introduce myself and my girls. I’m from Pennsylvania, U.S., and I’m a 21 year old college student studying Accounting. I have a full-time job lined up next year at a Big 4 accounting firm, so we’ll be a well-taken-care-of family of hoomans and buns. Now for the girls:

Princess, 7 month old lop.

Princess loves keeping to herself mainly, but has a soft spot for some human love on occasion. Her favorite activity (Besides sleeping and watching the world go by) are jingly toys, general exploring, and trying out new nap spots.She’s white with a brown stripe, spots, eyes and ears.

Luna, 4 months old.

Luna is our whacky bun. She runs a daily Luna 500 around the bunny room, jumps on anything within her range, and plays herself out every single day. She’s a fun bun, loves attention from her mama (not so much daddy). She’s a glossy black lop.

 

Clarice, 2-3 months old.

We were only ever planning on 2 buns, but we had to rescue Clarice. We saw a post on social media of a drunk guy pouring his alcoholic drink on her while she ran away and hid from him. He though it was funny, we were upset to say the least. If any of you saw my posts this weekend, we went to get her from her undeserving owners yesterday morning. We think she’s a mini rex, black and white. She’s an absolute sweetheart by the way, she’s in love with her new large quarters, constant attention and free play and all of her brand new toys. If you gently pet her ears, she dips her head and hits the floor the next second in an adorable little flop. She really loves attention.

 

Unfortunately, the girls are all still whole and we haven’t even attempted bonding yet, though they’re generally pretty friendly with each other when theyre out for play time in separate X pens. Each bun has a very large cage, with Loon in a 3×4 NIC cube and Princess in a 2×4 cube, both two-level condos. Clarice is very tiny, so she has our large cage that is as big as the bottom floor of either condo, and access to an x-pen area until we can build her a proper condo. Everyone’s a little frazzled about territory lines right now and bunny fists are flying, so we could use some good vibes coming our way! Thanks for reading and I can’t wait to learn so much!

P.S., I was sweeping up Clarice’s poops when I got to petting her and she just collapsed, I couldn’t let the picture opportunity pass, even though she laid right in it.

Welcome! Your girls are beautiful and you are wonderful for saving Clarice.

Accounting, huh? I’d like to say congrats, but I was in your shoes a number of years ago! It can be grueling. I’ll age myself, but I was there when it was the Big 8! Boy, they can woo you can’t they?! Travel finally got to me (I went the audit route, wish I had gone Info Sys at the time) so I got out.
