When your bunny goes to bed at the end of the day for his/her few hours sleep to wake up and wake you up too, or they have a sleep during the day, I’ve always wondered, do bunnies dream?

If bunnies dream, what would they dream about? Rabbits in the wild if they do dream might dream of running through fields and been chased by someone for stealing crops.

I’m just wondering that’s all, because I’m almost blind I’m just sat here thinking about things and remembered the family dog dreaming, he used to snore and run in his sleep whilst he was on his side, so I was wondering about rabbits.

I’m pretty sure that rabbits do dream, I’ve seen both Panda and Fernando dozing with their noses and paws twitching in their sleep. As for what, probably food . As far as I can tell, during the night-time hours between when I go to bed and get up to start the day, my two buns basically lounge in the litterbox eating hay, lounge on the upper deck or amuse themselves pushing various things around. By this time, some 6 weeks after they came to live with me, the daily routine has become well established to the point that virtually every morning when I get up – I can see their cage from my bed – I see them bunloafing on the upper deck gazing in my direction, relaxed but plainly anticipating their breakfast!
