My current bunny boy (Gir) is almost 10 years old. I feel he is too old to bond with a second rabbit and a couple of people agreed on here when I asked. However I saw some baby bunnies passing by a pet shop the other day and now have bunny fever! Lol
I would adopt from a shelter but now I want a second bunny.
I recently built Gir a large NIC condo (70″ x 42″ and 3 stories high). I cant post pics in this thread because I am on my phone but here is the thread with pics:

He barely uses the second floor and has never gone to the 3rd floor (probably because the ramp is weird). Do you guys think it would be ok to split the condo in two and keep him on the base floor and give the top two floors to a second rabbit? I would makw the following changes:
1. Face the top ramp the other way so it is easier to go up and down.
2. Remove the ramp from the first to second floor and put it outside so the second rabbit can get out from the second floor.
3. Close the open gap on the second floor to separate the 2 areas.
I would love to have two bonded rabbits but I dont want to stress him out or have the new bunny be upset when he leaves us
Would it freak the rabbits out having another rabbit close by? Or would they be okay?
Thanks for any help guys!
