  Is anyone else a member? There is the main chapter, and then there is also a local chapter near me. I think it’s about $30 per year for both. I know the proceeds go towards helping rabbits, and there is some sort of news letter from both. What do you think, should I go for it?
  
  Edit: Oops, for those who don’t know, HRS stand for the House Rabbit Society.

  I think Sage Cat may be a member of her local HRS. I don’t have one here, but I wish I did.

  Yep, I am a member of both my local HRS – where I volunteer – and the main HRS.
  
  The main HRS does send out a very news news letter – I think it is quarterly.
  I’m sure the local chapter near you will list on their web site if they do or not & what other benefits you might get.
  
  My local HRS also sends out a quarterly newsletter as well. I also get a discount on any of the bunny supplies I buy through the HRS. And e-mail updates on all kinds of bunny news, events, volunteers needed and that sort of thing.
  I have even met some very nice people by volunteering over there – although, they are all a little wacky for bunnies!!!

  Sounds cool! I think I’ll go for it, or ask someone to buy my membership for Christmas… Tehe.

  I’ve become a member recently. I’ve wanted to be one for a long time. But I’m new so i can’t say much about it yet.
