Hey guys, So maybe I’m over reacting. First time rabbit mum here! My little Ollie is 7 weeks old. He’s a miniature lop with a touch of cashmere fur.
I adopted him last week, and he had a small area behind his ears and neck where the fur was a bit thin. I figured that was normal, and he’s booked in for vaccinations in a few weeks so I could always pester the vet (I searched high and low for one that deals with bunnies
), but I was wondering if this is normal?
It’s gotten a bit larger, but only slightly so. It could be that he’s malting, or maybe it’s me seeing things? He’s been running around like normal, doing binkies and playing with his toys, and his ins and outs are fine.

I’ve attached a photo above, but with the light from my phone it probably looks worse than what it is. Have any of you had this with your bunnies? I probably sound silly asking, but thought I would check if its normal.
Thanks in advance! Sorry for being a stress head, I’m just a little anxious since the breeder that I adopted him from didn’t seem to know a whole lot about bunnies, and told me quite a few things that I’m 110% sure are ridiculous i.e. bathing them, not needing vaccines, desexing them not benefitting them whatsoever, giving them cat/dog worming paste…
Let me be clear that I had a family member collect him as I was out on a placement, so had I heard the breeder say these things myself I would have questioned what they had to say. But I digress!
