I felt something strange on Fox’s forehead recently and just looked past it. Then recently while I was petting him before bed I realized that the thing I felt was a shorter, thicker patch of fur on his forehead. There is no bald spots around it and his skin looks healthy. There isn’t any scaliness or anything like that. I brushed his fur back so it would be easier to see. I’m just curious if this is just regrowth or something to be more concerned about.

It’s molting for fur. Normal! Wick has that in random places at the moment. So much fur everywhere….

My Bam is looking exactly like that right now It’s normal molting. Rabbits often molt in patches, sometimes whole clumps of fur come out before there’s any new growth of hair underneath. It can look very weird, but it’s perfectly normal for buns.

Try to brush your bun often during molting.
