I haven’t been on these forums in ages but there’s no better place to share my exciting news!
This past week Min and I took a trip to the local shelter to meet some bunnies! There were a few bad “dates” but Min finally settled on a new friend to bring home.
This is Chloe, the gray lionhead!

Chloe has settled in very quickly and by the end of day 1 she was chinning everything in her new room and doing binkies and flops all over the place. She’s already starting to pick up on the whole litter box idea too! She will need more time to get comfortable before her real personality comes through but she’s been nothing but sweet and gentle so far.
Min is having some jealousy issues right now– lots of unpleasant surprises are being left on mommy’s bed as punishment for this new intruder– but she will hopefully settle down soon. As I keep reminding her– she got to choose who we took home so i don’t want to hear any complaints.
Chloe isn’t spayed yet so we will have to wait awhile before actual bonding can start, but so far they seem to be pretty fast friends. They haven’t shown any aggression towards each other and do lots of nose touches through the cage (totally supervised, i promise).
I’m still very nervous about bonding as i’ve never done this before but they are acting so mellow and sweet towards each other (I swear I saw Min trying to groom Chloe through the cage today) that I think (hope) I am stressing about nothing. Only time will tell I suppose.

Chloe goes in on Monday to be spayed so send her lots of love and happy thoughts~
