The Mysterious Oliver

Hi,

Would anyone be willing to recommend a good rabbit vet in Orlando?  I’ve been trying to determine Oliver’s gender (the white rabbit), with no luck, and I could really use some help.  If anyone could recommend a good vet or is willing to step up to the plate themselves, Oliver, Nico, and I would be ever so grateful!!

When you go to see Dr. Hobbs, you can tell that she cares more about us than she does about the money which is more than what you get from other doctors in the area. My mom did not find Dr. Hobbs as recommended from the House Rabbit Society but she did find her and she is happy she did and so am I. When I am with her I am calm for the most part. I do not normally like people holding me but I let it happen with Dr. Hobbs most of the time and my sister, Fuzzy Lumpkins is the same way and she is very good with Dr. Hobbs. The great thing about Dr. Hobbs is that she will get you tons of reading material and websites that you can research so you can learn more and more about your rabbit and what may be causing problems for them.

Yesterday, my sister, Fuzzy, had bugs on her and mom did not know what they were so she took her to Dr. Hobbs and Dr. Hobbs saw her and told mom that they were mites and did not charge her for the whole visit, only the medicine! It was great! That’s how you can tell she really does care. Mom also knows that if she ever has any questions she can just call the office and ask and Dr. Hobbs always calls her back the same day. She is just an all around great doctor. Another great plus is that if you are a college student, you get a discount at this vet! I definitely recommend Dr. Hobbs

Oli is probaby 2-3 months old. He’s super tiny!!

He still might be a little young yet to be showing anything down there. That is usually a definitive, when boy parts suddenly show up down there. Otherwise, it can be difficult to tell. The vet Roberta suggested sounds like a good place to start though. Perhaps she will be able to tell (although sometimes even vets have trouble).

There’s a new rabbit specialist in Deland that’s supposed to be amazing. Deland Animal Hospital. I’m taking Fiona to a specialist in St Augustine tho because she makes house calls but if I’m not happy with her, ill be going to Deland instead.
