Two mornings ago, my little fluffy buttface gave away all of her escape secrets for the sake of a beetroot treat. She has been getting out like rabbit Houdini for weeks now and I just couldn’t work it out. But this time, she took one look at the treat packet, and oddly hopped back into her cage. Only to then leap off her platform, onto the cage door, leap off that like a springboard over the x pen bars and onto the chair. She might as well have finished with jazz hands, I was that astonished! Foolish bunny though, because now mummy knows exactly where to block her off so she can no longer leave the premises without permission. Ha!

It can’t be just my monster… What unlikely feats of gymnastics have your buns made?

My bun, Waffles, does the same thing! Her cage is downstairs in the living room and every morning about 4am, I hear her running around my room, upstairs. Finally she escaped. She hopped out of the 3rd level of her cage, onto the desk beside her cage, behind the desk is part of the stairs with wide railing. So she hopped from the desk onto the stairs and made her little way upstairs. I followed her and she clears the babygate I have up in the frame of my bedroom door. This little girl is so curious and adventurous! It’s amazing!!!
