It is with a full heart that I thank Jerseygirl for finding the thread about my sweet Spockie.

It was 3 years ago today that he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. So much has happened since. I am grateful for finding BinkyBunny a few weeks later, and immersed myself in the comfort of other bunnies, with the support of many wonderful slaves. New friends all, Spockie would have loved you guys.

Here is a movie I made of him. I hope this link still works.

He was quite the character and looks like such fun! Thank you for sharing that video Pam.

Thank you for re posting the video! Though I found the thread accidently, I’m so happy I did. You became a member here many months before I did so I never saw this footage. I just loved seeing him, running around in full health. He’s doing the same, over the bridge.

I can see why you always talk of him so fondly. When I pulled up the old thread, I read you use to buy those slippers specifically for him. Seeing the now, it’s like he’s performing a ballet. lol Or perhaps he thought he was the Prince Charming from Cinderella. That suits him!

It always warms my heart to see this video. What a special little guy he was!

                <3 Spockie

And of course, <3 Pam! It's great that you have such cute footage to remember him by. Did he like foot-related things? Hehe

Oh Pam. Hugs to you. It’s hard to believe we never actually “knew” Spockie. He definitely has a very strong presence on BB. He was such a beautiful boy.

I know, Beka. You guys used to talk to me about Spockie, and I rambled on for months with all of my stories, but we realized that after 8 years, and several good vets (plus I had found HRS on line on my own) I had gotten some excellent advice and care over the years so had a lot to share with others. It really helped to do so, which is why I encourage all our members who have furbabies over the bridge to stick around. It’s very healing.

Rachel *tears up* & MM, Thank you.

Jersey, for those who were discussing psychic phoenemona in another thread, I think this is a good example. You just happened to find that post? On the Anniversary of his crossing the bridge? How cool is that! Did you feel a tingling around your ankles – something velvety soft?
I kidded because I said he had a foot fetish. He ran circles around my legs daily carrying the slipper. (Top count was 21 figure 8’s around my legs..) He gave me lots of kisses, and he let me pick him up, hold him like a baby daily, and carry him around on my shoulder for several minutes a day. He loved everyone, and wasn’t afraid to visit people, even when I gave a party. Sweetest guy unless it was nail trimming time….

I didn’t wear shorts for 8 years. Oddly, I asked a couple of vets if I should get him neutered, and they all advised against it! He never had other bunnies around us, so they said it was safe. He never sprayed particularly, but he did hump my ankles. I now believe I should have done the procedure.
With time comes knowledge I guess. Hopefully for the vets as well.

Bunny Hugs to you. I’m sure little Spockie is fondly watching over you.

I have already told RabbitPam how I came across it but thought i’d post about it here too.

Pam, I think it was serendipity.  I’ve already used that word on the forums this week. It’s one of my favourite terms, I like the sound of the word and especially like it’s meaning. Though I would have loved to had Spockie visit and tickle my feet to prompt me. I don’t think he’d like mine. They can’t compare to your soft bag-balmed pair.

I did a search using the BB search tool which was unusual as I rarely do. I usually search for threads using Google. I was looking for a thread about a movie (doco stlye) being made on rabbits. So only using the term “Movie” that’s how Spockies Home Movie turned up. It was posted before I became a BB member so I hadn’t seen it before.

I PMed RabbitPam as I wasn’t able to view the video in that thread and it so happened it was his anniversary on the day I PMed her. (Is that right RP?)

                          You betcha.
Serendipity. The best word for one of my favorite life circumstances. Spockie is giggling.

He’s so handsome and wow what a character! I wish I got the chance to know him better like I know Miss Sammykins, but he sure looks like one cool bunbun! Spockie was so lucky to have you as a “swave”! Very neat video…he sure loved your feet!!

Okay, I knew he was an amazing bunny but…first the baby cradling and then he let you carry him on your shoulder??? 0_o
                              I’m beyond stunned!
