        i think someonecalled it raftia? or something…i was looking to see if i could use bailer twine to make bunny toys, i have horses too so my supply of twine is endless!

          I don’t think that I would use the bailing twine– its made out out of some sort of plastic. I can just see a bunny tearing pieces off and swallowing it.
          I think that you are asking about raffia (?). You’ve probably seen it in giftwrapping, it looks like someone tied up a package with straw instead of ribbon. If you can get natural raffia it would probably work out great for their toys. I think craft stores have it

            I think that you can also pick raffia up in the garden section of many stores as they use it to tie plants to stakes and such.

                I use jute (burlap) cut up into strips, then braid it with strands of straw or hay and little lilac sticks to make thick braids. For twine I use the jute type also. I make toys for my dogs and rabbits with these materials.
