Hopefully this weekend will be a peaceful weekend of news – too much bad news this past week with Boston and West, Texas and the drama is still unfolding for both towns.  Still sending out healing and comforting vibes to residents in those towns.

My weekend I hope is going to be easy – Sunday my husband is making a smorgasboard of food for a small luncheon party we are having – luckily he does all the cooking.  Not sure what he has in store but it will be fabulous.  Looking forward to spening time with him and with good friends.  Not looking forward to the clean up though…good thing we have decided to do party lunches instead of dinners from now on.

Saturday will be a mad scramble for last minute shopping and cleaning for me for Sunday.

Yeah all this violence and drama all over makes me sad. I wish the world could be more peaceful. Unfortunately, I don’t see that happening anytime soon. =(

With West, Texas I just don’t understand why they put a middle school and all those homes and businesses around the fertilizer plant. They should have made more precautions. This shouldn’t have happened. =/

Anyways, enough of the sadness… This weekend, on Sunday, I am going to the OC pet expo. =) I am definitely going to buy a bunch of bunny items! I can’t wait, it’s going to be fun. The Bunny Bunch will be there and I know they’ll have tons of bunny goodies! =D

Busy weekend ahead, not very exciting but that’s okay.

Tonight taking some friends out to the barn to see Winnie. Tomorrow morning, our local SPCA is having a giant yard sale and I go every year. I love yard sales since I often find books super cheap and other little things. Then Ricky and I have to attend our Goddaughters First Communion and supper afterwards. My God daughter is my niece and she is the sweetest little girl ever. She’s a total mini-me of her aunt. She LOVES animals and horse back riding. What a great kid

Then Sunday off to the Radical Speed Sport Car Show that is held every year. This year there will be 3 original movie Batmobiles on display. My husband is a huge Batman fan.

Wishing everyone a happy and PEACEFUL weekend!

I’m having a pretty boring weekend.

I’m staying in tonight while my BF goes out (I’m not one for going out much anymore it seems) and so catching up on some cleaning hopefully if I can ever get off the computer. I also want to get some reading time in tonight as well as bunny play time is needed.

I’m working tomorrow morning-afternoon and then I’m not sure what’s going on at night. We were supposed to go to the Penguins hockey game but it’s been rescheduled for Tuesday because of whats happened in Boston. No idea for Sunday either! Haha!

Oh crap, is the weekend here already? I will be working this weekend. I have no weekends anymore. =(

The weather is supposed to be a little nicer. Not as nice as it should be this time of year, but anything is better than 35 and snow. Well not anything, I guess. But warmer is better even if its just supposed to be in the 50s.

My husband gave me his cold so I’m being lazy/resting until Sunday. On Sunday we’re picking up litter with husband’s firehouse for Earth Day (actually on Monday).

Probably just going to veg out on video games, tv, internet, and the bunnies (watching them hop around and play is relaxing entertainment).

Sarita — sounds like a YUMMY fun relaxing weekend (except for the clean-up! LOL). I am also hope there is a bit of a break of bad news as it’s been such a sad time for those that have gone through what they have and have losses. My heart goes out to them.

I must say, I am soooo looking forward to this weekend..because this will be the first full weekend we have had off in months! We have taken an evening off or an afternoon off on a weekend here and there, but that’s it, and we are very tired. My husband has been working non-stop due to a work deadline thing, and I have spent months getting our accounting organized properly and transferred over to a digital file cabinet and new digital system. Not to mention tax time added to the pressure. Anyway, I FINALLY finished a few days ago. We don’t know what we are going to do—which is great! We will wake up tomorrow and decide— We can veg out, go for a bike ride, go to the zoo, hike…Do all of it! ) Yippee!

Well, I’ve worked this morning at the stables, (Lifting like…10 tonnes of horse…droppings…into buckets, buckets on the trailer…drive the quad down the paddock…pull all the buckets off…) AND THAT’S JUST ONE JOB!! -.- But I’m done now, and thank god I get payed for it! We have a BBQ tonight, a ‘get together’ to welcome one of our friends who’s moving out here too from England. Then tomorrow I am going to be a vegetable and do nothing. Ditto the rest of the holidays…(I have two weeks off, it’s end of term 1 in school! ) wish I could spend my time at the stables funnily enough though!

Well it’s Saturday night here and so far today I’ve got some groceries, moved stuff around so I can paint the alcove where the bunnies use to be and stuck a layer of tape to the bottom of the skirting boards to keep paint off them and around the window because we spent way too much time last week using a paint scraper to get it off the metal, hopefully tomorrow we’ll get a coat or two done on the walls.

Loki won’t be happy next week when I cut him off from his favourite hiding area so I can paint the opposite wall.

We ended up going out for some Thai tonight – nice change! I love Thai food! I just spent an hour on the couch with Simba, relaxing while he groomed me and I continually pet him. Haha!

And now I’m hanging out with the Nora girl while she gets some exercise.

My weekend was originally planned to stay off the internet, I was gonna clean yesterday and probably split some fire wood and stack it for next winter, but I actually ended up going to my very first concert! My friend’s friend ended up ditching her last minute, and she didn’t want to waste a ticket. Pierce the Veil, All Time Low, You, Me at Six, and Mayday Parade played (Some of you probably won’t know them, but that’s okay.) I had so much fun, even though I’m sore, and got kicked in the head by a crowd surfer (There were signs that said no crowd surfing or moshing, yet the bands encouraged the crowd surfing. lol.) It was a lot of fun

We went to MN to watch a musical (Hello Dolly) that my sister was in. It was a lot of fun and she did great! She was the second female lead Irene. Then we went to the Mall of America and Ikea. The only things I got were some stuff for the buns at ikea. Now we are in the car on our way home. It’s about a 4+ hour drive but we only have about 3 1/2 left. I am so anxious to see the bunnies again!

I had my bachlorette party last night. It was a lot of fun, minus the drama cause by one of the bridesmaids. My friend, who lives in Arizona got us (myself, my sister, mom, and Ryan’s mom and sister) dinner reservations at the Melting Pot. It was delicious and I had a ton of fun going with a group that had never been there before. We then went out in West Chester for drinks and dancing and met up with one of the girls who didn’t come to dinner and my mom and I crashed at my sister’s apartment and she made us breakfast this morning. It was a great time!
