FORUM THE LOUNGE Territorialness???

        Hi, I have had my rabbit in the same cage for all his life. Obviously I take him out a lot, but I realised that he has now become much more territorial of his cage. He will bite anyone if they put their hand in his cage, even if they are trying to stroke him. I know that some aggression can be calmed down if you get your rabbit neutered, so that is what im gonna do. The main question is that once my rabbit is neutered, should i place him in a new cage when we get home? I wanna get him a bigger place anyway, but with all the raging hormones gone, will this make him a lot less territorial, if I just throw his old cage out? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

          Neutering will make him less prone to the behavior but it won’t totally change his behavior – you definitely should get him neutered though!
