        Hi!

My bunny’s front teeth is growing too large that it is almost the inside of his nose. Please help! We live in a city and there is NOT a single vet here who accomodates bunnies. Only cats and dogs. Any tips?

I’m thinking I could cut it using a dog’s nailcutter since I read online that some people used it. However, I don’t know if my bunny would be in pain or what. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Clipping rabbit teeth with clippers in itself is dangerous and painful. Clippers have a high chance of fracturing the tooth laterally, opening holes in the gums to bacteria to enter and become infected. Have you looked further outside the area? This is a serious case which requires a professional rabbit vet. Unfortunately, it may mean a long car ride, but that is the safest avenue in my opinion. Doing it on your own is risky and can lead to additional problems and pain, necessitating multiple trips to the rabbit vet.

Thank you for the reply! This helps.
Okay, I’ll try to look more vets who accomodates bunnies since that is the only option.
            Again, thank you.

Maybe give your bunnies more toys and stuff to chew on and if that doesn’t work you may need to take a car ride for your bunny to the nearest vet that can help bunnies

How much hay does your bunny get?

If you give us your general area (are you in the US?) we might be able to help you locate a vet.
