  So I didn’t realize rabbits could even like tea until I spilt some on the floor and here comes Fuji to lick up the mess! I buy teas from teavanna, but I was just wondering if I could brew her a little cup of tea (of course I will look at the ingredients first). Have any of you tried to give your rabbits tea?

  I probably wouldn’t give tea, but as long as the ingredients are bunny safe, it would probably be okay. BB store sells a bunny tummy that you can give them.

  My bun, Peter, used to go crazy for tea, as if it was catnip (bunnip?). I researched and checked with my vet who is great with rabbits and got the go-ahead to give him my teabags when I’m finished, as long as its herbal & unsweetened.

  I’ve given Bam herbal tea, but only the dry contents of the bags, mint and chamomile. It can be sprinkled on hay as a topper.
  
  But just so we’re clear, by this I mean pure herbal tea, just dry herbs, no actual tea made from the tea-plant (camellia sinensis).
  
  I’ve never tried feeding my bunnies the contents of used herbal teabags though. I’m gussing they would frown, but it’s worth a try.
