Do you think the IRS would give me an extension with no penalties if I explained to them that I couldn’t possibly get my taxes turned in on time because I have a sweet little bunny that needs all of my free time for pets and cuddles? ![]()
Dang if I’m not getting any work done these days! I just love, love, LOVE sitting with Senor Scooter Beans and soaking up the bunny time. Ahhhh…life is good with a bun around!
lolz…Tell them your bun ATE your taxes… ^_^
I know what you mean though. I just got most of my stuff sent off to my accountant last week and then my investment firm sends me revised 1099’s. I was fit to be tied. I already wait till the last minute to get things prepared, this just made it worse. >.<
Funny how, if they hadn’t agreed in D.C. to a budget tonight, the IRS could’ve taken the month off, but WE still have to pay our taxes on time. Yup. Life is officially unfair. ![]()
My friend’s bunny got into her bag and ate the stamp off her tax return. Just the stamp. LOL
Chacha says she’ll put on her mommy’s glasses, grab a calculator, and do your taxes.
One of the benefits to little to no income is not having to do taxes, or at worst doing the really easy form. I have that problem with homework though. “I’m sorry, I couldn’t do this week’s readings, I have bunnies!” They actually have taken a good bite out of my homework before, lol. Silly, silly bunnies!
lolz…Tell them your bun ATE your taxes.. Love it!
But if you get a tax refund you can buy bunny something lavish!!!

Oh! That would have been fun to watch! Maybe it tasted good? Hahaha! Okay, back to cleaning off my desk so I can get to work. ![]()
Ah ah… your online dot is still green at the time of my posting this. You have been found out! I think perhaps it’s a combo of Scooter Beans and Binky Bunny that is proving a distraction. Yes?
I love the name you decided on by the way. : )
Edit: heh heh, ok it’s red as soon as I submit the post. Just think of all the carefree time you can have for the bun once the taxes are out of the way.

That’s so funny that you said that! I WAS distracted, once again, by BB forum posts. I started looking at the habitat threads, just very quickly of course LOL! I REALLY want to upgrade Officer Scooter Beans’ bungalow and was looking for ideas. Then I realized I had better get off BB and really and truly get to work, so I actually CLOSED my BB link (something I never do, I have it on my start-up list so I can look at it every day!). So then I went to clean up my email, which actually is part of my work, and when I was done, there were two new emails, one being yours, and now…I’ve been sucked back in!!!! Hahaha, thanks for the distraction! Oh look, it’s lunchtime! Guess the taxes will have to wait a little bit longer…
Haha, I forget about those subscription email thingys. I don’t use that feature. Well, it’s almost 4am here and I’m off to bed. So all blame of distraction will have to go back on Scooter Bean’s cute little bunny head!
I file a schedule C for my business, and i always joke about having the buns on the payroll for “tissue paper quality control department”
I’m sure the IRS would not buy that one though.
Going to pick up my returns today (I hate math so I don’t do em myself). Hope I got me some monies!!!! Need bunny supplies.
So who still hasn’t done their taxes? Tax day is coming!
I did ours a couple weeks ago. So far it’s easy – I file one return for both of us and we don’t own any property. The only really annoying thing is that TurboTax charges $40 for each state return and we pay that twice since we live in one state and work in another. Still, it’s worth it to have it done so quickly! Love TurboTax
Do you claim that $40 (Well $80 for you) as part of the following years taxes?
I got my returns!!! Yipeee! Got me some money! I never expect to get anything back because if you don’t it’s disappointing but I was pleasantly surprised! It was a great day because my bf got a raise that day too! Both these things came at a really good time. We went out for supper to celebrate.
Thought this was cute:

Jersey, I didn’t know it was possible to claim the $80 on next year’s taxes! I just do whatever TurboTax tells me will get me the biggest refund.
My hubby finally did ours on wednesday while i was up visiting Brittany ![]()
MB, how on earth did he find the time whilst being the sole slave to 3 bunnies! I bet you he gave them popcorn and a bunch of unsuitable videos to keep them distracted.
@Elrohwen, I really don’t know if you can there. Here, you can claim costs of getting your taxes done as part of the next years deductions.
