So I have a male rabbit Peanut Butter who as started acting strange. He is losing his balance and falling to one side. We are going to the vet tonight. However I am afraid that when we return the other rabbits will fight with him. besides him we have 2 other males and 1 female. Should I bring all 4 rabbits to the vet? Or maybe bring one of the rabbits with him? or should he go solo? Please help quickly I dont want their bond to be destroyed but he needs to go to the vet. Thank you guys!!

If they’re all bonded I would try and take them all but don’t fret too much if you can’t. I’ve taken my girl to the vet on her own a few times (emergency where time was crucial) and it didn’t affect the bond between her and my boy. They were newly bonded at the time too. It’s always better to take bonded buns together but sometimes you just can’t.

When you bring him back home, just watch their interactions for an hour. When my girl came home (first time I took her alone she was only gone an hour), my boy just sniffed her when she got back and then laid with her and groomed her.

Nice name for your boy btw – My boy is called Peanut and my girl is Buttercup
