Suddenly sleeping under furniture.

Its probably nothing at all and completely normal, but I’m a bit worried about Winston.
Today he suddenly started sleeping under furniture (the sofa and TV cabinet). He’s never really done that before, he usually sleeps in the middle of the room on an evening. Maybe its because its a Saturday and normally I don’t see him during the day because I’m at work…?
I looked under the TV cabinet to see where he was, and he got up, looked at me then flopped twice (which scared me because he’s not much of a flopper). I was watching him because I’m a worrier and he was staring at me and his eyes seemed to be rolling back – nothing major, I could just slowly see the whites appearing which I’ve never noticed before.
He doesn’t seem interested in his pellets today, but he did eat his hay and dinner as usual. I gave him curly kale and mint for the first time today, I’m hoping those haven’t had a bad effect on him.
He normally has his crazy hour at 8pm, but he’s still under the cabinet sleeping.

Olly has done this numerous times on me, because we don’t understand it scares us or we panic, bunnies like to hide, if they feel safe and you know he is safe there and no wires to chew, he’ll be fine, bunny flops mean “Yeah I’m happy I’ll just sleep here, because I want too.” Olly likes Curly Kale and Mint, he might just be tired, Olly does this after waking me up at 4 or 5 in the morning, if he is happy leave him, rabbits find a favourite spot, even really tiny spaces, wild rabbits hide in small tight spaces away from predators like foxes and cats and dogs, so the predator cannot stick its nose in, has he heard a dog bark or were foxes in your garden last night? Olly tells me when there is a fox in my garden, he bangs his foot to warn everyone, I wake up and go and look, 9 times out of 10 there is a fox sat waiting for me to shoo away or a cat, I’m a worrier too with Olly, there is nothing wrong with being over concerned about pets, if we could just say. “You alright bud?” and they say. “Yeah I’m alright, what times my dinner?” We wouldn’t worry as much.

Update:
I noticed he hasn’t had much of his water so I took him out of his hiding place. He wouldn’t drink when I put his bowl under his nose. He felt really heavy and didn’t budge when I picked him up, and when I put him on the floor he was stumbling as he walked off, like he was dizzy and hid away again. I rang the vet who told us to take him in. Turns out he has an ear infection .
He has some antibiotics and was given an injection for his bowels because he doesn’t seem to have pooped as much as usual.
He perked up in vets office, but now that we’re home he’s back to hiding away and stumbling around but he’s had a drink now.
I’m just really annoyed with myself because I was looking at pet insurance the other day but didn’t get round to buying it so now I’m down £165 because I had to take him to the out of hours emergency vets, but my mind is more at ease knowing its nothing serious.

Yes, I’m very sorry he wasn’t very well with an ear infection but you did the right thing by calling the vet and getting him there, Otitis is it? Middle ear infection?

Wintons-mum you are such a good bunny mom!!! You noticed right away that something was off and followed your gut to get on here and ask even though you thought it could be nothing. Glad it’s just an ear infection and hope Winston is back to himself in no time!
