I been thinking about getting a stroller for my bunnies but I am concerned that they would chew or scratch through the mesh. Do you think this would happen?

I think chewing on mesh is likely, yes. That is especially dangerous considering rabbits’ ability to squeeze through tiny fabric holes of their making, haha.

A lot of this will be up to your rabbits’ personalities, not only if they chew it or not, but also if being restricted and moved around in a stroller will be enriching or stressful for them. These are all important to consider.

Thanks. I know that my rabbits would love getting out. I was just worried about the mesh. One of my bunnies, cinnimon, chewed though mesh on her carrier when she was a baby. She has been spayed and stopped chewing lots now so I am not sure.

Some bunnies enjoy pet strollers, others do not. If you decide to give a pet stroller a try, I would suggest monitoring their behavior while pushing them around. Maybe start with short trips. They could potentially make a hole in the mesh… but I think you would notice them chewing so I doubt it would get to the point where they would be able to escape unnoticed.
