        Good Morning,

I was hoping that someone could advise we as to what these red spots are in my bunnies ear. I just noticed them this morning, he only has them in the one ear – and my other rabbit doesn’t have them at all. It is a cut? fleas? mites? I’m not sure at all. They are indoor bunnies so I don’t understand how they could get mites!! I have attached a photo to help.

         Thanks

          Hi,

Have you checked his front and back nails on that side? When he itches they nails might be long and he might have stabbed/scratched him self by accident when he was cleaning.

I agree. It looks like an accidentally self-inflicted scratch.
